What hho.cash actually costs

Every fee in one place · Last updated 19 September 2026

Short answer

Sending money to another hho.cash user is free. Savings has no fee from us. Swapping costs 0.5% on any token, including the 0.15% network routing fee charged by 0x, shown in the quote before you confirm. Bank fiat deposits cost 0.75% — or 0.50% if your account number was opened before 24 August 2026, because the rate is fixed into the account when it is created — and cash-outs 0.50%. Sending USDC out of hho.cash — to someone else's wallet, on Base or any other network — costs 0.50%; moving a coin between your own networks is free, and we pay the bridge fee. Copy-trading strategies take 10% of gains on amounts up to $150,000; above that, profit share is agreed with you. Funding wallets with a card charges provider costs directly, not ours. A bank account number and a card come with one plan: 4.99 USDC a month, charged only after your ID check is approved. Nothing else needs a plan.

The whole table

What you do What we charge What else it costs
Send to another hho.cash user by @handle Free Nothing — we pay the network fee for you
Send USDC to an outside wallet on Base 0.50% Money leaving hho.cash for someone else's wallet is a cash-out, whichever network it uses. Moving it between your own networks stays free. We cover the network fee on gasless transfers
Cross-chain withdrawal 0.50% Sending USDC from Base to someone else's wallet on another network, plus the bridge's own fee. Shown before you confirm
Move a coin to another network in your own wallet Free Same coin, same wallet, different network — not a swap. We also pay the bridge's fee (up to $0.25 per transfer), so the amount you send is the amount that arrives
Savings (USDC earning through Morpho) 0%, any balance Nothing. You get the full yield the protocol pays
Swap any token 0.50% Only when the coin changes. Minimum convert $2. Includes 0x's 0.15% network routing fee. The DEX price you get, shown in full before you confirm
Max swap slippage Up to 0.25% If the price moves more than 0.25% from the quote, the swap does not execute
Strategies (copy-trading on Hyperliquid) 10% of gains, up to $150,000
Above $150,000, by agreement
Minimum $1,500 to start — smaller amounts skip some of the strategy's trades, because the exchange's smallest order is $10. Hyperliquid charges a flat $1 to connect to a strategy and $1 to drop it, paid directly to the exchange, not to us. Exchange trading fees apply on each trade
Add money by bank transfer 0.75%
0.50% on accounts opened before 24 August 2026
The rate is fixed into your account number when it is created and does not change afterwards, so an account opened earlier keeps its original 0.50%. Your bank may still charge for the transfer itself
Cash out to your bank 0.50% Any additional bank fee is deducted on payout and shown in your activity once it lands
Bank account number and card 4.99 USDC / month One plan covers both. The first charge comes after your ID check is approved, then every 30 days from your USDC on Base. Sending, swaps, Savings and strategies never need it

Where we are not the cheapest

Every page like this is written to make the product look good. So here is the part that usually gets left out.

Buying with a card is expensive, and we can't fix that

When you buy USDC with a card or a local bank rail, the money goes through a licensed payment provider — not through us. We add nothing, but their pricing is the largest single cost anywhere in this product. That is why we show every provider's number side by side instead of picking one for you: on a live check, the same 100 euros bought 110.32 USDC through one and 106.66 through another, and in another country the winner is different.

If you already hold USDC somewhere else, sending it in costs a fraction of a cent and skips this entirely. That is genuinely the cheapest way in, and it costs us the on-ramp revenue to say so. We compared every route with the arithmetic on $500 in the cheapest way to add money.

0.5% on swaps is less than doing it yourself

Other non-custodial providers charge a minimum of 0.7%, and hidden fees often push the all-in cost to 0.95% or higher. You pay 0.5% on any token, and that already includes the 0.15% that 0x, our routing provider, charges. It pays for the routing, the gas we sponsor, and the fact that you do not have to onboard to a crypto exchange. That is a real convenience, and it is a real cost. If it is not worth that to you, you are not the person we built this for, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

Strategies charge a profit share — and Hyperliquid charges to leave

Copy-trading strategies execute real trades on an exchange, and every trade pays exchange fees out of the position. We take 10% of gains on strategy amounts up to $150,000. Above that, profit share is agreed with you. Leaving a strategy costs a flat $1 on Hyperliquid, paid to the exchange, not to us. Entering is free — verified on live deposits. Because $1 is flat rather than a percentage, it weighs more on small amounts: on a $20 position it is 5%.

Savings, strategies, and returns

Savings yield comes from third-party lending protocols and changes constantly, it is not a rate we set or guarantee. Strategies can lose money. Neither is a deposit, and neither is insured. We explain where that yield actually comes from, including what can go wrong.

Where the money actually goes

Three different things get called "fees" and it is worth separating them:

Kind Who takes it Where you see it
Our fee hho.cash Swaps (our 0.35%; with 0x's 0.15% that is 0.5% in total), bank in (0.75%), bank out (0.50%), sending money out of hho.cash (0.50%), 10% of strategy gains up to $150,000, bank account and card plan (4.99 USDC a month). Savings free. Shown before you confirm
Network fee (gas) The blockchain Base costs a fraction of a cent. We sponsor it on gasless transfers
Third-party fee Payment provider, exchange, protocol Card purchases, exchange trades, protocol cuts, swap routing (0x, 0.15%, included in the swap fee you see)

Common questions

Is it really free to send money?

Yes. Sending by @handle between hho.cash users costs nothing — no fee from us and no network fee for you, because we pay it. Current caps are $10,000 per transfer, $50,000 per day and $500,000 per week — safety limits, not pricing, and the same for everyone. Moving your own money into Savings or a strategy does not count against them. Your live limits and how much of them you have used are shown in the app, under Settings.

What is the cheapest way to get money in?

Sending USDC you already own from another wallet or exchange. On Base that costs a fraction of a cent. Buying with a card is the most expensive route, by a wide margin.

Do you take a cut of my savings?

No. Savings has no management fee and no performance fee. You receive the full yield the underlying protocol pays. We could charge here and chose not to.

Is there a fee to withdraw?

On Base, sending USDC to another wallet is free and the network fee is negligible. Sending USDC out to someone else's wallet costs 0.50% on any network, plus the bridge's own fee when it leaves Base. Moving it between your own networks is free, and we pay the bridge fee. Cashing out to your bank costs 0.50%. Leaving a strategy costs a flat $1 on Hyperliquid. Entering is free.

Is there a subscription?

Only for a bank account number and a card: 4.99 USDC a month for both, charged after your ID check is approved. Everything else — sending, swaps, Savings, strategies — works without it. There is no premium tier: the rates on this page are the same for everyone, with or without the plan.

What do you take from strategies?

10% of gains on amounts up to $150,000. Above that, we agree profit share with you. We do not take a management fee. Hyperliquid still charges $1 to connect and $1 to drop, and the exchange charges its own trading fees on each trade.

Are there hidden fees in the exchange rate?

No. The swap fee is stated separately — 0.5% on any token, including 0x's 0.15% routing fee — and it is not folded into the rate you are quoted. That matters because a hidden spread is how most "zero fee" crypto products actually make money.
