Quick questions, direct answers

Is this a bank?

No. hho.cash is a self-custodial software wallet, not a bank. We never hold your funds — you hold the keys, always. There's no FDIC insurance because there's no deposit; your dollars stay in your own wallet, under your control.

Is my money safe?

Your funds live in a wallet only you control, secured by Privy's TEE key infrastructure. We never hold your keys and cannot take your money out of your wallet — our server can only trigger the exact operations you use in the app, inside limits enforced outside our systems. Even if our servers were compromised, those limits and allowlists still hold. Savings yield is variable and not guaranteed. Strategies carry market risk, including risk of loss.

Can I withdraw anytime?

Yes. Savings has no lock-ups and no minimums — withdraw all of it whenever you like. On Base, sending USDC to another wallet is free. Cashing out to your bank costs 0.50%. Moving USDC to another chain costs 0.50%. Strategy balances return to your wallet when you leave. Connecting to a strategy costs a flat $1 on Hyperliquid, paid to the exchange, not to us. You can also export your private key and move to any wallet at any time.

What's the catch on fees?

No catch — every fee is shown up front (see the pricing table). Sending by @handle is free because we sponsor the gas. Current send caps, set for testing and launch, are $250 per transfer and $1,000 per day — safety limits, not pricing. Savings has no fee from us; you receive the full yield the protocol pays, which moves with the market (shown as up to 8% a year, not a rate we set or guarantee). Swaps are 0.5%, shown in the quote. Bank deposits are 0.75% and cash-outs 0.50%. Sending USDC to another chain is 0.50%. Copy-trading takes 10% of gains on amounts up to $150,000 (above that, by agreement), plus a flat $1 on Hyperliquid to connect. Card purchases carry the provider's fee, typically 3.5–5% stated and higher all-in, shown before you confirm. There is no premium plan and no subscription.

Which networks can I use?

You can hold and receive USDC across Base and Arbitrum. Swapping and sending run on Base today — more networks are coming. Always double-check the network before sending crypto; on-chain transfers are irreversible.
